People & the Environment
It is known that, nowadays, our planet needs us to step up and take action to repair many of the disasters it has suffered, due to our own irresponsibility. Whether it is oil spills, air pollution, plastics or toxic chemicals leaking into our water. There is still a lot to be done to restore the ecosystem to balance. Environmental justice for all should be our core mission.
Here, however, our teenage photographers were invited to capture with their photographic lens their familiar environment and the person in it, whether it is placed in the urban fabric or in our villages and islands.
Through the eyes of our young girls and boys photographers, what is highlighted is the importance of preserving the environment, the beauty of nature that surrounds us and at the same time the fear of its extinction and destruction are reflected.
The photos of these teenagers bring nature and its greatness back to the forefront, reminding us that nature is the soul of our communities.
